Why Ceremony?

Because...Life!

When the complexity and seeming madness of the world has us ON OUR KNEES, invoking ceremony is a powerful and transformative choice.

Life is full of endings and beginnings, and big waves crash through. You may have experienced death of a loved one, divorce or major relationship change, a challenging medical diagnosis, the loss of a job or other huge life transition. When we sink into the loving arms of the ceremonial container, we can harvest the lessons of the experience, connect with the spirits that support us, and find the way to surf those crashing waves.

In addition to the endings, there are also magical beginnings! Baby blessings and baptism, weddings, celebrations of new jobs- the beginnings deserve ceremony as well.

As an ordained interfaith minister, I can support whatever religious or spiritual context you prefer. My own practice is of nature-based spirituality which can harmonize with any perspective. If ceremony is not a regular part of your life, I encourage you to explore.

After my husband died, I was overcome with a yearning to wash his body and regret that I had not had the opportunity. Becca made clear that this was still possible in the imaginal realm, in ritual space. She invited me into a deep process where I was able to experience this. I washed and thanked every part of him, wrapped him in a sail and sent him off in a boat. The process shifted something profound for me. It reminded me that when something is terribly wrong, you can make it right through ritual. My gratitude for this experience, for this knowledge is boundless.

Your journey begins with a meditative journey to determine the direction your personalized ceremony. Throughout the experience, we will alternate between shared moments and solo time for personal reflection and integration. You’ll have the opportunity to reconnect with nature—offering moments of prayer, reflection, and peace for your body, mind, and spirit.

Our sacred ceremonial space is nestled on my cherished homestead, adjacent to community-held land featuring a sacred spring and standing stones.
